Books Inventory shows accounting on-hand and weighted average cost by location — the numbers invoices, bills, and adjustments post against. Bin-level warehouse detail lives in WMS under the same SKU. Use Books when you need valuation, margin checks, or document-ready quantities; switch to WMS when you need to know which aisle or bin to walk to.

Steps

• Open Inventory in Books.
• Confirm the active organization and location in the header when filters apply.
• Search by SKU, brand, or tire size digits (e.g. 2756017) — not formatted sizes like 275/60R17.
• Open a row to see quantities by location.
• Review average cost when investigating margin or inventory valuation.
• If bin positions matter, open WMS → Quick Lookup or Inventory for the same SKU.
• Note discrepancies and trace back to the last bill, adjustment, or WMS session instead of editing cost manually.
