How to invite a user in TB One?

This process works in apps: TB One
This article will teach you how to invite or create a user, assign roles, and ensure they get the branded welcome email.
Users in TB One is the central identity hub for tenant employees. Invites should assign the correct app roles (WMS receiver vs Books admin vs POS counter) so people land with least privilege. Password setup uses Tire Base branded email via Cloud Functions — never Firebase’s default reset template.
Steps
- Open Users in TB One.
- Click Invite or Create User.
- Enter their work email and display name.
- Assign tenant role and per-app permissions as needed.
- Save the invite.
- Ask them to check spam for the Tire Base welcome email.
- If needed, use Forgot password on one.tirebase.io — not Firebase console resets.
Conclusion & best practices
Least privilege first — expand access after onboarding. If the welcome email is missing, check spam and resend via Tire Base invite/reset flows rather than Firebase’s default reset. Dual-identity users (employee + B2B customer) need careful role alignment — use Global Admin review tools when unsure.
