How to open organization settings from POS Lite?

This article will teach you how to reach shared org tabs like Users and Locations from the POS Lite settings shell.

Organization Settings in POS Lite exposes the same shared tabs as Books and WMS — Users, Permissions, Locations (wms-locations), Tax Rates, Data Migration, and more. App Settings (POS Preferences) only affect counter behavior. Admins use org tabs for company-wide changes; counter staff usually need only POS Preferences.

Steps

• Open Settings in POS Lite.
• Note App Settings (POS Preferences) vs Organization Settings sections.
• Switch to an Organization tab such as Users or Locations.
• Edit with admin permissions — non-admins see Access Restricted.
• Save changes.
• If you changed locations, re-select the active location in the header.
• Return to Hub / Order Builder when finished.
