How to enable PartsTech labor estimates?

This process works in apps: TB POS

This article will teach you how to turn on PartsTech Labor Estimates with EstimateXpress or EX Elite, and how those hours land on the POS work order.

PartsTech Labor Estimates (Mitchell 1 / Motor) are a PartsTech plan feature, not a Tire Base setting. Compare plans shows Labor Estimates off on PartsTech Free and on for EstimateXpress and EX Elite. OE Fluid Specifications, OE Maintenance Schedules, and OE Vehicle Specifications are EX Elite only. This is not Tire Base Service Guides — that POS tool is separate and is not what the PartsTech card opens.

Steps

Conclusion & best practices

Do not look for a Labor Estimates switch in Tire Base Integrations — the plan lives in PartsTech Subscription. If labor never returns, confirm the PartsTech plan includes Labor Estimates and that you added labor before Submit Quote.
