How to resume an open job from the Hub?

This article will teach you how to find an open quote or work order on the Hub and continue in Order Builder.

The Hub list shows open quotes and work orders waiting on customers — any advisor can resume them without rebuilding the cart. This is critical during busy Saturdays when customers wander the showroom and return to the counter later. Starting “New” when a Hub row already exists is the most common front-counter duplicate-job mistake.

Steps

• Open Hub from the POS Lite sidebar.
• Scan the list for the customer name, vehicle, or quote age.
• Use search/filter if the list is long.
• Tap or click the open quote or work order to resume.
• Order Builder opens with existing lines — review for stale pricing or stock.
• Update lines, notes, or customer approval as needed.
• Save or proceed to Complete Order when the customer is ready.

Conclusion & best practices

Train the team to resume instead of starting “New” when a Hub row already exists. Duplicates split payments and vehicle history. If pricing changed since the quote was written, re-check totals with the customer before checkout.
