How to get access to Reports settings?

This article will teach you how admins grant Settings access and how you reload after permissions change.

Settings in TB Reports requires admin role or canAccessSettingsModule on your user record — same pattern as WMS and Books. Most report runners only need the library, not user administration. If Settings shows Access Restricted, permissions are working as designed; ask an admin rather than assuming the feature is missing.

Steps

• Try opening Settings — note Access Restricted vs missing link entirely.
• Ask a tenant admin to open Organization Settings → Permissions.
• Have them grant Settings access or admin role for Reports as appropriate.
• Save the role change.
• Sign out and sign back in (or hard refresh) to reload claims.
• Open Settings again to verify org tabs appear.
• If still blocked, confirm Reports is on allowedApps for your user’s tenant.
