Some tenants can describe a report in plain language to generate a starting configuration. AI is a draft assistant — always review dimensions, filters, and metrics before sharing with ownership. Validate against a known manual report or spreadsheet subtotal before trusting net-new definitions.

Steps

• Open the AI / generate report entry if available on your tenant.
• Describe the metrics, dimensions, and filters you need in plain English.
• Review the generated configuration line by line.
• Fix fields that map to the wrong store, GL bucket, or date column.
• Run the report on a narrow date range you can spot-check.
• Compare totals to a trusted report or Books list.
• Save or share only after validation passes.
