How to manage locations for Sync?

This process works in apps: TB Sync, TB Books, TB WMS, TB One

This article will teach you how to confirm Sync-enabled locations and switch the active location used for search and ordering.

Locations live in the shared wms-locations collection for every Tire Base app. Sync only lists locations that are explicitly Sync-enabled. The active location in the header controls which warehouse context inventory search and vendor orders use.

Steps

• Open Settings → Locations.
• Confirm the warehouse or shop you need appears and is intended for Sync.
• If a location is missing, ask a Tire Base global admin to enable Sync on that location (syncEnabled).
• Return to the main Sync screens and open the location selector in the header.
• Pick the Sync-enabled location you want active for searching and ordering.

Conclusion & best practices

Never assume every WMS location is available in Sync — Sync requires an explicit enable flag. Switching tenants resets location context; always re-select the correct ship-from / ship-to location after an org change.
