How to search vendor inventory in Sync?

This process works in apps: TB Sync
This article will teach you how to search by tire size or part number, read vendor tabs, and decide what to add to a cart.
Inventory search is the main buying screen in Sync. It queries your connected vendors plus your local catalog so you can compare availability and price in one place. Tire size search is most reliable when you type digits only (for example 2055516), because products are indexed on rawSize rather than inconsistently formatted size strings.
Steps
- Confirm the active organization and Sync-enabled location in the header.
- Open Inventory from the sidebar.
- Type a tire size as digits only (e.g. 2756017) or enter a manufacturer / Tire Base part number.
- Review the result list and switch vendor tabs to compare stock and pricing.
- Open a line when you need specs, images, or deeper availability detail.
- Add items to the cart when you are ready to place a vendor order (if ordering is enabled for that vendor).
Conclusion & best practices
Prefer digit-only size search over formatted sizes like 275/60R17 — formatting differences break prefix matching. If a vendor tab looks empty while the total count is higher, refresh the search and check that the vendor connection is healthy before assuming the tire is unavailable. When the customer does not know the size, use Search By → Vehicle — see How to search inventory by vehicle in Sync.
