How to set up a label printer in WMS?

This process works in apps: TB WMS
This article will teach you how to save a Zebra Wi-Fi IP per location and send a test label from Settings → Label Printer.
WMS prints 4×6 inventory and bin labels to a Zebra ZQ630 over Wi-Fi. Settings → Label Printer stores the printer IP for the location selected in the header — switch locations to configure each dock. Choose Zebra WiFi, enter the IP, Save, then Test Printer. The app auto-detects port 6101 (mobile) or 9100 (desktop). The printer must already be on the same Wi-Fi as the Tire Base Android. Personal phones do not print labels.
Steps
- Put the ZQ630 on shop Wi-Fi and note its IP (How to connect a Zebra ZQ630 printer to Wi-Fi?).
- On a Tire Base Android, open WMS and select the location this printer serves.
- Open Settings → Label Printer (App Settings).
- Select Zebra WiFi and enter the printer IP. Tap Save, then Test Printer.
- Confirm a CONNECTION TEST (or test) label prints at that dock — not another building.
- Print a real inventory or bin label from Inbound or Bin Management to confirm the full path.
- Update the IP if the printer moves or DHCP issues a new address. Do not try Bluetooth or a cable from a personal phone (Why won’t labels print from my phone?).
Conclusion & best practices
A wrong IP silently sends labels to another dock. Keep one reserved IP per location and test after any network change. Tire Base–purchased printers are already the right model — you still owe Wi-Fi plus this IP screen. Related: How to use a Tire Base scanner and printer?.
