How to run WMS reports?

This process works in apps: TB WMS
This article will teach you how to choose a warehouse report, set filters, and export or print results.
WMS Reports summarize inventory movement, stock positions, and session activity so managers can act without exporting raw session logs by hand. Reports respect the active location and date filters you set — wrong filters are the most common reason a report “shows nothing.” Use them for weekly ops reviews and shrink investigations.
Steps
- Open Reports in WMS.
- Choose a report type that matches your question (on-hand, movement, sessions, etc.).
- Set the location filter to the warehouse you are reviewing.
- Set the date range to the period you care about.
- Run the report and scan for outliers (zeros, negative bins, huge variances).
- Export or print if you need to share results outside the app.
- If numbers disagree with Quick Lookup, re-run with the same location active in the header.
Conclusion & best practices
Match filters to the question you are answering (one location vs all). Save common filter habits as your team standard so weekly reviews are comparable. Reports show system truth — if the floor disagrees, fix sessions and counts, not the report definition.
