This article will teach you how to connect Tire Rack Wholesale, powered by Tire Connect, and which checkout fields Tire Rack requires.

Tire Rack Wholesale (also searched as Tire Rack) connects in TB Sync on the Tire Rack Wholesale card, powered by Tire Connect. Connect the account this location already has with Tire Rack. An order can use more than one warehouse, up to 12 tires. Checkout requires a PO number of 3 to 20 characters, a delivery method (that choice changes the price), and a sales person. An order comment is optional and stops at 60 characters.

Each supplier uses one vendor connection. Your TB Sync plan includes a set of connections. Every connection past that set is a vendor connection add-on.

Steps

Open TB Sync → Vendors → Vendor Connection and search Tire Rack. Open Tire Rack Wholesale. The card is powered by Tire Connect.
Choose the location. One Tire Rack account per location. Reconnect skips the account fields when this shop was already set up.
Choose I already buy from them. Fill the required Tire Rack account fields. Use Open a new account only when Tire Rack offers that button.
Add the shop contact, link a Books vendor, pick a distribution center, and click Send request.
Tire Rack reviews the request. That can take up to two weeks. The vendor stays pending until the status is approved.
After the connection is Active, open Inventory and search a tire size (digits, such as 2256517) or a part number. This supplier sits next to your warehouse and your other connections so the team can compare price and quantity. Then include the connection on a B2B portal (Sales Channels → the portal → Vendors & Brands), on a B2C Widget sales channel, or from an API key (Settings → Organization Settings → API Keys) with POST /v1/sync/inventory-search. Dealers and website shoppers see your distribution center name and your price. They do not see the supplier name. The API guide is the Universal API.
When you order, you may combine warehouses, up to 12 tires. Enter a PO number of 3 to 20 characters, choose the delivery method before you trust the price, choose a sales person, and keep any order comment within 60 characters.
Save a checkout default for delivery method and sales person on the vendor after the first search, under Checkout defaults. The PO number stays on the order, next to Generate PO #.
